Responsibilitieso Deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP's Nursing Professional Practice Model.o Develop, evaluate, and revise patients' plans of care throughout their hospitalization.o Gather and analyze data to inform the care team and delegate tasks. o Promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures.o Identify and address safety concerns or ethical dilemmas with unit leadership.o Develop effective partnerships with the interdisciplinary care team.o Adopt healthcare technology and clinical practice changes in a fast-paced environment.o Maintain CEUs for nursing licensure and comply with annual nursing competencies and mandatory education.Position Detailso Contract positions with CHOP, which partners with RightSourcing to offer temporary contract opportunities. We are currently taking applications for future assignments and not immediate staffing needs. o Contract Length:
13 weeks - with the possibility of conversion.o Schedules Options:

00 AM - Every other weekend and holiday is required.o Staffing decisions are made 2 hours prior to a shift, for example for a 7 am shift, the nurse will learn of the work location at 5 am.o For this RN contractor program CHOP does not have a shift cancellation policy. This means that CHOP can cancel their shifts and there is not a limit in the number of shifts they can cancel. We anticipate that CHOP will do everything possible to keep you on shift prior to cancelling a shift.o Pay Rate:

o These roles will be rotating/floating locations between CHOP Main hospital (3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104) and CHOP King of Prussia Hospital (550 S Goddard Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406)Required Education and Experienceo Required:

At least 2 years of nursing experience; and at least 1 year of pediatric experience in a large hospital network.o Preferred:
Highlight specific inpatient specialty experience in Med/Surg unitso According to the CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services), a copy of the diploma or transcript is required as proof of academic achievement for all non-laboratory personnel performing non-waived POC testing.Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrationso CPR Certification issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross)o Registered Nursing License or active Temporary Practice Permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or State of New Jersey, depending on the assigned work location.o For RN roles, CHOP accepts nursing licenses issued from a Nursing License Compact (NLC) State.o If practicing with an active temporary practice permit, obtains an RN license prior to the expiration of the practice permit.o Preferred:
